Vetting in optics of the Albanian Helsinki Committee, in the framework of the European integration process

Albanian Committee of Helsinki organized the Round Table within the framework of the Month of Civil Society Engagement for European Integration.

During the activity, it was discussed about the main findings and recommendations reflected in the policy document: “The process of transitional re-evaluation of prosecutors and judges within the framework of the obligations for integration in the European Union”.  Among other things, with a special focus, the discussions focused on the progress and progress of the vetting process in view of the main obligations arising from the European integration process.

Experts in the field and representatives of public institutions from the Parliament of Albania, the Ombudsman, the Independent Qualification Commission (KPK), the Special Board of Appeal (KPA), shared their evaluations in this activity and addressed specific recommendations with special importance in view of the improvement of the revaluation process as a process which contributes to the integration of Albania in the European Union.
