Today we held the next open discussion with the University of Elbasan and the students of this university on the role of Civil Society and the academia in the process of European integration. The Ambassador of the Netherlands in Tirana, H.T. Reinout Vos, representatives of civil society organizations, and lecturers from the University of Elbasan took part in the discussions.
UNiEL students and lecturers had the opportunity to discuss with the ambassador and the civil society about their expectations for the integration process and what Albania will benefit from EU membership, but also what added value Albania will bring to the EU. In the meeting, we acknowledged the work of Prof. Assoc. Arben Gjeta, “Jean Monnet” Chair, and the contribution and participation of this university in ERASMUS programs.
